Maddy Siegrist is a 6-foot-1 forward for the Villanova Wildcats Women’s Basketball team and was named 2020-21 first team All-BIG EAST. She was also named first team All-Philadelphia Big 5 and the Big 5 Player of the Year and was one of five finalists for the Katrina McClain Award given to the top power forward in the country. Maddy became the fastest player in program history (50 games) to score 1,000 points and just the third player to reach the 1,000-point plateau in two seasons. She became the third player in BIG EAST history to lead the league in both scoring and rebounding. Maddy is from Poughkeepsie, New York and attended Our Lady of Lourdes. She was named Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. Named All-State twice and Averaged 32.7 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per contest as a senior.
