Jared McCain is a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Centennial High School in Corona, CA. The five-star Duke commit is ranked No. 16 nationally on the ESPN Top 100 list and was the 2022 California Gatorade Player of the Year. He was a member of the 2022 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team that won the gold medal at the 2022 FIBA U18 Americas Championship. Jared led Centennial High School to the California State Open Division Championship in 2022 and a 33-1 overall record. McCain controls the pace of the game, and is considered one of the best shooters in the country, while making plays for himself and others. Jared averaged 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal as a junior in 2021-22. In 2022, he was the MVP Open Division and was First Team Open Division in 2019 and 2021. McCain has also maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
