Avery scored over 1,000 points and recorded over 500 rebounds in her college career. She was also named two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2019 and 2020. Avery is from Harrison, New York and attended Harrison High School. In high school, she was named all-league four years, all-section three years and Second Team All-State as a junior.
