Mikayla Boykin is a 5-foot-9 guard for the UNC Charlotte Women’s Basketball team and a 2021 graduate of Duke University with a major in sociology. She is from Clinton, North Carolina and attended Clinton High School. Mikayla was the Gatorade North Carolina Player of the Year and North Carolina Miss Basketball. She led her team to the North Carolina 2A State Championship and received game MVP with 31 points. She averaged 37.4 points, 13.7 rebounds and 6.5 assists, 5.6 steals, as a senior. She topped the 60-point mark two times and had three-consecutive contests with at least 50 points. Poured in a career-high 63 points to break the state single-game scoring record and ranked second in state history with her 31.8 career scoring average.
