Today, the team plays in the 15,400-seat Carver-Hawkeye Arena, which they share with the Iowa women's basketball, wrestling, and volleyball teams.
Prior to moving to Carver-Hawkeye Arena in 1983, the Hawkeyes played in the Iowa Armory and the Iowa Field House, which still hosts the school's gymnastics teams. The team's longest home winning streak of 21 games was set in 2006, a school record. Four Iowa head coaches have been honored with induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, including Sam Barry, Ralph Miller, Lute Olson, and George Raveling.
