The Siena Saints (formerly the Siena Indians) are composed of 18 teams representing Siena College in intercollegiate athletics. The Saints compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. For over 40 years, the school’s teams went by “Indians.” There was even a student section at home basketball games that was known as the “Tee Pee Rowdies.” In 1988, Siena College dropped the “Indians” mascot, and today the mascot is Bernie “Saint” Bernard, a St. Bernard dog.
