The Saint Mary's Gaels and Gonzaga Bulldogs have a competitive men's basketball rivalry that takes place within the West Coast Conference. This matchup is often recognized as one of the most intense and exciting on the West Coast, as both teams have been top performers in the conference for the past 20 years. Over the last two decades, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's have won 20 out of 24 conference championship games, with the past 14 going to one of these teams.
