• Won his first collegiate dual, a 6-2 decision over SF State’s Kurtis Clem at 165 pounds (Nov. 17)

• Four-year letterwinner in wrestling at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colo.
• Three-year team captain … Became a three-time state champion, in 2016 (145 lbs), 2017 (152 lbs) and 2018 (160 lbs) to become the first in school history to achieve the feat
• Named a 2017 High School All-American
• Three-time All-Colorado
• 2018 5A League Most Valuable Player
• Three-time First Team All-Conference
• Holds his high school records for career wins, career pins and most team points scored
• Four-time Academic All-American

PERSONAL:

• Son of James and Monique Dinette
• Has one older brother, Isaac and two younger sisters, Ileana, and Emily
• Father, James, wrestled at Stanford and was a Grappling World Team member.
